- Ride Jerseys:
Congratulations and welcome to our 21st ride we are super excited to see you all on September 23rd and to make this the best RIDE YET! We have 206 Riders and 72 crew and we have raised OVER $75K so far! We are cutting off Rider registration on Sept 4th.
Remembering Tim Stein
Our friend and benefactor, Tim Stein, 68, passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2022, at his home in Cape Neddick, ME. Tim’s generosity to Harbor to the Bay was honoring the memory of his partner of 35 years, Wayne Fette. This year’s Ride honors Tim. Tim’s heart was huge, he cared about his friends and family deeply, he was a good person, a good soul, and will be missed by many. Tim touched many lives and will continue to do so. Read more
Setting up your fundraising page and finding info
Sign in at https://stage.harbortothebay.org/my-account/ to edit your fundraising page, find links to images, information on hotels, etc. Check back often to find more information, Crew assignments, etc.
Returning Boston Ride Out to Club Cafe
Copley Square Renovations have begun which will mean we will not be able to ride out from the front of Trinity Church this year. Instead, we will have to return to Club Café which is where it all began. So we will be meeting at 209 Columbus Ave at 4:30 AM for Rider and Crew Check-in, and breakfast.
Fundraising Scholarships
We are pleased to announce that through the generosity of two dedicated supporters, we are able to help both FIRST-TIME RIDERS, HIV POZ RIDERS, and those whose work in supporting those living with HIV, achieve their $500 fundraising goal for this years’ ride. Simply do your best to raise donations from friends and family, and then come ride day, we will add whatever shortage you have in your account to increase your account up to the $500 minimum. Cyber Friday on August 25th!
In the lead-up to the final ride, Harbor to the Bay will also host our special one-day fundraising event, “Cyber Friday,” on August 25, 2023. On that day, we will try to raise at least $21,000. Paying tribute to Wayne Fette and Tim Stein, long-standing supporters of Harbor to the Bay, their estate will donate up to $21K to the General Fund to match what we raise that day.
Ride Jerseys:
Just a reminder we had to have our order for these back on July 15th and although we ordered extra we at this POINT CANNOT guarantee everyone will get a jersey in the size ordered. The folks who were signed up before July 15, will be guaranteed the size they ordered. For all those who registered after 7/15, we will do our best to get you into something.
As always, we are so thankful for our community and your efforts in making our Ride a success. 100% of Harbor to the Bay fundraising goes directly to AIDS Action Committee, AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod, AccessHealth MA, and Fenway Health. We could not do it without you.
If you have not yet signed up for Ride 21 please visit the H2B website to join us for this exciting and important year. Register your friends and family members too!
With gratitude,
The H2B Committee
