That’s what training is. Seriously. Literally. My butt is SORE. I’ve had a busy summer, and I’ve not dedicated NEARLY the time I should have to training yet… so last week, in true Heather fashion (my life is one giant “all or nothing”), I started biking everywhere. Got a few minutes? Go for a ride. Hate taking the T? Bike to work. Gotta go to the gym? Bike there. So yeah, it’s a literal pain in the butt.
But then I start reading some of the rider spotlights, and I’m like man. I am so happy that I’m able to do this ride, and raise both money and awareness for Fenway Health.
