Besides cue sheets and volunteer route guides the entire route is arrowed. What that means that at every turn there are arrows painted on the road. There will be two arrows before the turn and at least one after each turn. At some intersections when you are going forward there also will be arrows. If you come to an intersection and you do not see any arrows that means that you are to continue forward. The longest distance you go without an arrow (except on the Rail trail) is about 2 miles.
Other cycling groups and utilities also arrow the road, so it is important to follow the correct arrow. Our arrows are green and look like below. It is important to note the color and the shape.
